Well, it’s the end of July. Are your kiddos ready for Back to School in August? This week I am linking up with some wonderful blogs to discuss ways to “beat the summer slide.” I hope that you have found a lot of great resources along the way! I have two resources to share with you today: one for math and one for reading.
Math Center Games Packet for School or Home (4th Grade)
This is a great resource for kids who have completed 4th grade. There are 10 games included in the packet that are great for completing at home because they require very little prep. In order to play the games all you need are playing cards, dice, and a few game board pieces.
The topics covered in the packet include:
- Rounding
- Multiplication (up to four digit by 1 digit, and 2 digit by 2 digit)
- Division (up to 3 digit dividend)
- Prime and Composite Numbers (You can actually download this game as a FREEBIE!)
- Comparing Fractions
- Mixed Numbers
- Adding Fractions
- Decimals
- Geometry
- Basic Fact Practice
Literature Choice Board (3rd– 5th Grade)
And now for the FREEBIE! This is a great resource for any teacher or parent because it can be used with any book. There is a choice board with 9 activities that can be completed during any part of any book. There are also 4 worksheets included that go with 4 of the activities.
Thanks so much for stopping by this blog hop! I wish you well as I send you to your next stop, Collaborating in Kinder!
